Pat for AU

Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant P.K. Bishnoi congratulated Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy, Registrar P. Vijaya Prakash and other officials of Andhra University for successfully organising the 95th Indian Science Congress recently. At a meeting held in the VSP, its Directors Y. Manohar (personnel) and K.S. Shankar (finance) handed over a cheque for Rs. 1 crore to Prof. Vijaya Prakash, in the presence of Mr. Bishnoi. VSP donated the amount to AU to conduct the Science Congress as part its corporate social responsibility.
