Two teenagers arrested

NEW DELHI: Two unemployed teenagers have been arrested at Dwarka here over the weekend on charges of making threatening calls to a jeweller to extort money.

According to the police, the accused, both residents of Matiala, had been making threatening calls to Chaturbhuj of Balaji Jewellers in Bindapur for the past one week from different public booths and demanding Rs.5 lakh from him. The two had even threatened to kidnap his children and kill him if their demand was not met, the police said.

A trap was laid and the two were arrested.
