Man held for auto theft

NEW DELHI: A 34-year-old man has been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police for alleged involvement in several cases of auto-theft. Two jeeps and a motorcycle have allegedly been seized from his possession.

Acting on a tip-off, the Crime Branch team laid a trap near Aggarwal Chowk in Nangloi this past Friday and intercepted a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist, later identified as Gurmeet Singh of Nangloi, was arrested when he could not produce the documents of the two-wheeler.
