ISKCON workshop on Jan. 19

HYDERABAD: “Freedom from Depression”, a free-for-all workshop aiming to present an alternative approach to the problem of psychological depression, will be conducted by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness on January 19.

Announcing the details at a press conference here, Sahadeva Dasa, president of ISKCON, Secunderabad, said that depression has permeated the fabric of modern life as a major contributor to the disturbances in one’s emotional, social and family life.

Depression awareness, dispelling myths, preventive measures and therapeutic treatment will form the major aspects of the workshop that will begin at 6 p.m. at Plot 38, Sri Malini Colony in New Bowenpally.
