Belgaum
Belgaum: Four members of a family were killed in a road accident near Badekolmath Cross near Hirebagewadi on National Highway 4, 20 km from here on Tuesday. Three of them died on the spot and the other in hospital. According to the police, Nagangowda Malgowda Patil (40), a teacher, his daughter Saukhya (8), son Sanket (3) and another daughter Sriyanka (10) were returning home after worshipping a deity at Hirebagewadi when their motorcycle was hit by a truck. While Patil, Saukhya and Sanket died on the spot, Sriyanka succumbed to her injuries in the government hospital here.
