BSF wins title

NEW DELHI: Border Security Force (BSF) beat Assam Rifles 5-3 in the tie-breaker after a 1-1 deadlock in regulation time in the final of the all-India Police football championship for the B. N. Mullick Trophy at the BSF camp, Chhawla, near here on Wednesday. G.S. Atwal (BSF) was ajudged the ‘player of the tournament’ while Deepak Kumar (BSF) bagged the ‘best goalkeeper’ award.
