Supports Bundelkhand plan

LUCKNOW: Lending her support to the creation of Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati said if the United Progressive Alliance government took a decision in this regard, she would send a resolution passed by the Vidhan Sabha to the Centre.

Ms. Mayawati also supported the creation of separate States of Purvanchal and Western Uttar Pradesh (Harit Pradesh). The Bahujan Samaj Party would be thankful to the Centre if it decided in favour of the trifurcation of Uttar Pradesh, she said.
