Kerosene for cardholders

PERAMBALUR: The State Government has ordered the supply of one litre of kerosene a month for those who have been issued new family cards, according to Collector Anil Meshram. Essential commodities, except kerosene, were being supplied to all families that have been issued new cards since December 2004.

The card holders (those without LPG connections and those with one cylinder) are now eligible to draw one litre of kerosene. The kerosene supply had commenced in the district, Mr. Meshram said in a press release.
