Gang of dacoits busted; five held

NEW DELHI: With the arrest of five young men, the South Delhi police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a gang of dacoits.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team laid a trap near Astha Kunj late on Tuesday night and arrested five armed men while they were allegedly planning to rob a wholesale agent of Okhla Subzi Mandi. The accused have been identified as Vinod, Nikhil, Iftiquar, Jamal and Ravi.
