NEW DELHI: Four youths, including three Sri Lankan nationals, were arrested at Paharganj here by the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police on the charge of staying illegally in the country and possessing forged travel documents. Acting on a tip-off that some Sri Lankan nationals living in a hotel at Paharganj could be involved in criminal activities, the Crime Branch sleuths raided the hotel this past weekend and arrested three persons. They were identified as Thisaveera Singham Ranjith (22), Francis Jansan (22) and John Mary Agashtan (28). Fake Indian passports and visas were allegedly seized from them. During interrogation, they allegedly disclosed that Mahalingam Ayyakannu, a resident of Periyeri in Chennai, had arranged the forged documents for them for Rs.75,000.
