Minister inaugurates milk chilling centre

MADANAPALLE: Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Budha Pasad inaugurated milk chilling centre at Burakayalakota and distributed Rs 1.05 crore as loans to 41 groups at the rate of 0.25 paise interest under IKP scheme.

Speaking on the occasion the Minister said that 18 milk chilling were set up in the district with Rs. 9 crore. Rajampet M.P. Sai Pratap urged the members of the self help group to utilise the loans properly. Thamballapalle M.L.A. K. Prabhakar Reddy said that the government formulated welfare schemes for the development of the poor.

A.P. Dairy GM Hanumantha Reddy, DM Madhusudhana Rao were also present.
