Chandigarh: A country-made liquor brand named after popular Aamir Khan starrer “Rang De Basanti” was withdrawn by the Punjab Government from the market on Thursday, two days after it was launched due to protests by supporters of martyr Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh’s supporters had taken exception to the name of the liquor launched by a company in Bathinda two days back. Expressing regret over the nomenclature of the liquor, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal ordered immediate withdrawal of the spirit from the market.
