Steps to streamline PWD works

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In-service training for PWD engineers, contract rate revision and performance guarantee from contractors are among the proposals being mooted for streamlining the functioning of the Public Works Department this year. Public Works Minister Mons Joseph held consultations with the representatives of the contractors and engineers here on Thursday towards “modernisation and restructuring of the department”.
