Biocon net rises to Rs. 399 cr. in April-Dec.

CHENNAI: Biocon has reported a total income (consolidated) of Rs. 811 crore during the first nine months of 2007-08 against Rs. 710 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year. The net profit, including exception items (net of tax), rose to Rs. 399 crore from Rs. 139 crore, says a release. Biocon and IATRICa, a U.S.-based start-up biotechnology company, have announced a strategic partnership to co-develop an exclusive new class of immuno-conjugates for targeted immunotherapy of cancers and infectious diseases.
