Orchid’s Q3 profit up at Rs. 54 crore

CHENNAI: Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals has reported a turnover and operating income of Rs. 332.69 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 against Rs. 238.73 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal, a growth of 39.4 per cent. The net profit grew by 91.1 per cent and stood at Rs. 54.12 crore against Rs. 28.32 crore. — Corporate Reporter
