YCC records win

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Youngmen Cricket Club and Pankajakasturi CC recorded wins in the 13th Celestial Trophy all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground on Thursday.

Youngmen CC defeated Rovers CC by 49 runs while Pankajakasturi scored a four-wicket win over Bhenix CC.

The scores: Youngmen CC 169 in 26 overs (Anil Kumar 47, Bipin Chatterjee four for 30) bt Rovers CC 120 in 25 overs.

Bhenix CC 157 in 29.2 overs (Rahul 39, Ajay Prasad three for 16) lost to Pankajakasturi CC 158 for six in 27.3 overs (Vishnu Mahesh 32).
