CHANDIGARH: Kanishk Madan ousted second seed Shahid of Bangaldesh for his second win and entered the third round of the 107th LG all-India amateur Open golf championship here on Thursday. Having beaten Adil Jehangir of Pakistan in the first round, the 31st-seeded Madan defeated Shahid on the 15th hole when he was four up. In the pre-quarterfinals, Madan will take on Sri Lanka’s Mithun Perera, who beat Edmund Jonathan of Malaysia 4 and 3. Malaysia’s Mohammed Arie, seeded 32, beat top seed Jamal Mollah of Bangladesh 3 and 2.
