9-ball pool selection camp from tomorrow

BANGALORE: Fourteen players are in the fray in the first 9-ball pool selection camp to select the two players to represent India in the Asian 9-ball tour will be held at the KSBA Hall here from January 19 to 24.

The players, seven in each group, will play race to seven before the top four from each group will qualify for the knock-out.

While the first camp will be from January 19 to 22, the second selection will be held from January 22 to 24. The top two from the two camps will represent India.

The groupings: Group ‘A’: Manan Chandra (Del), Devendra Joshi (Mah), Alok Kumar (Pun), Kamal Chawla (Rlys), Rafath Habib (Rlys), Gagan (Chan), Sourav Kothari (WB).

Group ‘B’: Dharmendra Lilly (Pun), Shyam Jagtiani (Rlys), Amit Yadav (Pun), Ranjan (TN), Sumeet Talwar (Chan), Balaji Reddy (Kar), Vipin Sethi (Del). Coach in-charge: S. Jairaj.
