Stone laid for bridge

Rourkela: Orissa Minister for Works and Housing A.U. Singhdeo on Thursday laid the foundation stone for a railway overbridge in the civil township here and promised to complete the work in two years.

For the Rs. 1,413.20-lakh project, the State government’s share will be Rs.756.595 lakhs, Mr. Singhdeo said adding people of the area had been demanding for the project for the last 20 years. Earlier, Minister for Sports, Debasis Nayak laid the foundation for the proposed Bisra Munda Stadium. -PTI
