ViBGYOR fest curtain raiser from today

BANGALORE: The curtain raiser of the third edition of the ViBGYOR International Film Festival for short and documentary films will be held here from Friday.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, K.P. Sasi, filmmaker, said that the films that would be showcased were “far from the reality and entertainment-oriented”. “Through film festivals like this, filmmakers get an opportunity to convey their message to the audience,” he said.

Films featured

The curtain raiser will feature films such as “Yi As Akh Padshah Bai” (There was a queen) and “Mahua Memoris” besides over 10 short and documentary films. The films will be screened at Charles Ranson Hall, UTC, Miller’s Road and at SCM House, Mission Road.
