Caught in a row

Hyderabad’s tennis sensation Sania Mirza, who has kept the Indian flag flying high by reaching the third round of Australian Open, was once again dragged into an off-court controversy. This time the unnecessary controversy over her alleged disrespect to Indian flag has not only hurt Sania, but also her diehard Hyderabadi fans.

While talking to the media during the Australian Open, the tennis-pro revealed that the spate of controversies had compelled her to think seriously of quitting tennis altogether. The tennis-ace accepted that she was not a superhuman and such controversies affected her on-court performance.

However, for an average Hyderabadi sports lover, Sania would remain a superhuman athlete and trendsetter.
