Record discharge of manganese

The Visakhapatnam Port set a record by discharging 17,436 tonnes of manganese ore in bulk on January 12 from the vessel m.v. Sanko Phoenix surpassing the previous record discharge of 13,739 tonnes on October 8, 2007, from m.v. Normannia. The cargo was imported by Sarada Energy and Minerals Limited, Raipur.
