A. Narendra Sangareddy: Medak Member of Parliament A. Narendra and his cadre who are waiting in the wings to be an active part of the Bahujan Samaj Party might have to hold on patiently till the establishment of Telangana regional committee by party chief and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati. The former Union Minister’s followers claim that he resisted from taking formal membership in the BSP during Mayawati’s visit to the State, because it might become a tool in the hands of TRS to get him disqualified on this pretext. As per an understanding, the BSP would carve a separate body for the ten districts of Telangana region. The body with Narendra as its chairman and five members from OC, BC, SC, and ST communities would be handed over the reign of the region. This way Narendra would be secure till the next elections. The cadre is confused whether to take membership of BSP or to stay outside and work shoulder to shoulder with the BSP activists. In the absence of a definite direction, there is a possibility of some returning to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti. Delimitation hassleThe Medak MP also has another problem awaiting him in the shape of delimitation. After delimitation, Medak Parliamentary constituency will have Siddipet and Dubbaka added to it, both strongholds of TRS. Besides, Gajwel and Narsapur are represented by strong Congress women - Minister for Major Industries Geetha Reddy and Sunitha Laxma Reddy.
