Andaman tourism festival inaugurated

CHENNAI: Lt. Governor Bhopinder Singh, administrator of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, inaugurated ‘Island Tourism Festival-2008’ in Port Blair on Thursday. Organised by the Tourism Department of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the 12-day fair will showcase developmental activities in various fields. Artists from South Zone Cultural Centre and East Zone Cultural Centre performed at the inaugural session. The festival concludes on January 27.
