Two boys drown

VELLORE: S. Rahul (14) and K. Vidyasekar (17) of Udayarpalayam under the Kondapalayam police station limits near Sholinghur drowned when they went to bathe in an open well on Thursday morning.

According to police, Rahul slipped and fell into the well. He could not swim, and drowned. Vidyasekar, who entered the well to save him, also drowned. He too did not know swimming.
