The rahu-kethu connection

K.T. Sangameswaran

Chennai: Better results can be achieved if there is a good coordination between IAS and IPS officers.

This message was perhaps effectively conveyed by none other than the Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, T. Pitchandi.

At a function organised by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the State police force, which has under its control the Idol Wing CID also, the senior IAS officer said that usually the police and IAS officials were like the Rahu and Kethu in the ‘Navagraha Sannithi’ in different directions, he said.

Evoking peels of laughter from his audience, he thanked the police for inviting IAS officers also for the programme.

Mr. Pitchandi spoke on temple security.
