Remembered: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy garlanding the statue of P. Jeevanantham, doyen of Communist movement, in Puducherry on Friday. — PUDUCHERRY: The death anniversary of the doyen of Communist movement, P. Jeevanantham, was observed in Puducherry on Friday. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, along with Education Minister M.O.H.F Shahjahan, garlanded the statue of the leader at Saram. Among others who offered floral tributes included national council member of Communist Party of India R. Viswanathan, secretary of the Puducherry unit N. Kalainathan and leaders of Dravidar Kazhagam.
