PALAKKAD: A three-day health mela was inaugurated by K.K. Divakaran, MLA, at the Parali High School near here on Friday. Doctors of all the four branches of medicine – allopathy, homoeopathy, ayurveda and sidha - will examine the patients and provide free medicine. The mela is organised under the National Rural Health Mission, which is organising health melas in every Assembly constituency in the State. Awareness rally, medical camps, exhibition, cultural programmes, competitions and seminars are also being organised during the three-day programme.
