No intention to interfere in Telangana issue: YSR

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy said here on Friday he had neither interfered in the Telangana issue earlier nor had any intention to do so now.

Dr. Reddy was responding to a question at a press conference about the allegation by leaders of his own party that he was the main obstacle in the way of the Congress high command taking a decision. When it was pointed out that some senior Congress leaders were openly talking about Telangana in spite of the high command’s directive not to air their views publicly, he said it was for the leadership to look into the issue.
