Winning start for East Bengal

Bangalore: Defending champion East Bengal opened its campaign on a winning note in the Nike-Manchester United Premier Cup under-15 tournament that commenced in Mapusa, Goa, on Thursday. East Bengal defeated Sporting Club de Goa 7-0 and later scored a 4-0 victory over Mahindra United, according to an official press release.
