Vidya Mandir-Sportstar cricket tournament

Chennai: The annual Vidya Mandir-Sportstar (under-13) inter-schools’ cricket tournament will be held from January 22 to February 6.

Sixteen teams are divided into four groups, and the top two in each group will figure in the quarterfinals.

Matches up to quarterfinals will be played at St. Bede’s ground, while the semifinals and final are scheduled at IIT-Chemplast ground.

The groups: A: Chettinad Vidyashram, Vidya Mandir ‘B’, St. Michael’s, SRL Sankara. B: St. Bede’s, Modern HS, Don Bosco Matric, St. John’s (B. NR). C: Vidya Mandir ‘A’, DAV (Mogappair), PSSHS, St. Patrick’s. D: Santhome HS, PSBB (KK Nagar), Jawahar Vidyalaya, and Hindu SSS. — Special Correspondent
