Vinoth scores unbeaten century
Chennai: K. Vinoth Kumar made an unbeaten 101 as Royapettah defeated Chennai Telephones by eight wickets in a fourth division ‘C’ match of the TNCA cricket league here recently.
The scores: Div. IV ‘C’: Madras Emmanuel 98 in 37.5 overs (Ajay Federick 48, Chetan Agarwal five for 15) lost to Vijay’s RC 103 for two in 15.1 overs (K. Sudhakar 64 not out).
Chennai Telephones 165 in 49.2 overs (Charles 43, K. Ramji 56, C. Sakthivel four for 44, M. Nandakumar five for 42) lost to Royapettah 168 for two in 30.4 overs (K. Vinoth Kumar 101 not out).
TSR MSC 181 for eight in 50 overs (C.K. Deepak 57, K. Shanmugam five for 72) lost to Cosmopolitan Club 187 for four in 30 overs (K. Siva 43, Vijay Kumar 48 not out).
TRC 190 in 46.5 overs (R. Ranganathan 52 not out, R. Jaikumar five for 63) lost to YMA 192 for six in 48.1 overs (S.A. Sheshadri 73 not out, R. Ranganathan six for 62).
TFUCC 177 in 48.5 overs (T. Raghavendra 45, K.R. Anbu Selvan 42, S. Sridhar four for 83) lost to Jai Hind CC 181 for six in 42 overs (R. Sriram 83).
