Hearing on plea adjourned

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Friday adjourned further hearing on a petition by the wife of a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) worker seeking a CBI probe into the death of her husband.

The petitioner, Roopli Bai of Kodihalli village in Kanakapura taluk of Bangalore district, alleged that the former MLA D.K. Shivakumar, his brother D.K. Suresh and others were involved in the murder.

She alleged that the Kanakapura police had failed to properly investigate the case.

She urged the court to direct the State to order a CBI probe in the murder.
