Proclaimed offender held

NEW DELHI: A proclaimed offender wanted in connection with over two dozen cases of murder, robbery, extortion and under the Arms Act has been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police.

Vijay Dahiya alias Bodha of Sonepat in Haryana carried a cash reward of Rs.80,000 on his head -- a Rs.50,000 reward declared by the Delhi police and Rs.30,000 by the Haryana police. He had earlier escaped from judicial custody in Gurgaon when being taken to hospital .
