Advani to preside over celebrations

NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leader L. K. Advani will preside over Pongal celebrations being organised by Delhi Tamil Sangam here on Saturday.

The three-day festival began on Friday with keyboard music performance by Ram Prabhu and Bharatanatyam dance by Anusha Ramachandran. On Saturday, Mr. Advani will address the Sangam after inaugurating a variety programme by artistes from Chennai. On Sunday, Tamil Nadu PWD Minister Durai Murugan will speak on “Literature -- Past and Present”.
