Farmer found murdered

HYDERABAD: A farmer was found murdered at Shamshabad on city outskirts on Friday night.

The victim Jilla Sudhakar, 27, and his friend Anjaiah, also a farmer, jointly purchased a piece of land at Madanapalle village. Anjaiah was recently arrested on charge of dowry harassment.

After being released, he reportedly approached Sudhakar to sell the land. “It seems Sudhakar rejected the idea following which Anjaiah and his friends allegedly murdered him,” Shamshabad Inspector Ramachandrudu said. A hunt is on for the accused.
