Kochi to host trade show for bakers, hotels

KOCHI: A three-day-long hotel and bake trade show, aimed at familiarising the hospitality industry and bakers with cutting-edge equipment and service providers, will begin at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kadavanthra on January 30. Increasing energy efficiency of equipment and premises, improving quality and hygiene and waste and water management will be the areas of focus. Around 60 companies are expected to showcase their products, says P.A. Vinod Menon of Hoteltech show. Industry organisations like Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association (KHRA) and Bakers Association of Kerala (BAKE) are supporting the show, organised by Samanuaya Communications.
