‘Pavala vaddi’ from next kharif: Raghuveera

KALYANADURG: Minister for Agriculture N. Raghuveera Reddy on Sunday stated that the State government had made up its mind to provide crop loans at 25 paise interest rate from the coming kharif season. Such low interest loans were only being given to women self-help groups so far, he said.
Title deeds
Speaking after distributing 1,035.52 acres of land to 346 beneficiaries of Kalyanadurg Assembly constituency, as part of the fourth phase of land distribution scheme, he said the government used to give only land pattas in the past, but the present government was giving title deeds, land sketch and ‘chitta adangal’ to the beneficiaries so that they could straightaway take up work on the land. Zilla Parishad Chairperson T. Kavitha, Anantapur MP A. Venkatarami Reddy, Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha Chairman L.M. Mohan Reddy, Joint Collector T. Chiranjeevulu, RDO G. Venkatesam and others also spoke.
