‘Sinchana-2008’ in Gulbarga on January 25

GULBARGA: “The Activity,” a Bangalore-based organisation, is organising “Sinchana-2008” for students of Class 6 to 9 in Mysore, Hubli, Gulbarga and Bangalore this month.

A spokesperson from the organisation said here on Sunday that the competition would be held in Hubli on January 22 and Gulbarga on January 25.

The finals for winners from Mysore, Hubli and Gulbarga would be held at Bangalore on January 31.

He said that the responsibility of organising the competitions in Gulbarga had been entrusted to the North Eastern Teachers’ Forum. Working president of the forum M.B. Ambalagi said that the competitions would be held in junior and senior categories.

Only students from Government and Government-aided schools are eligible to participate in the competition.

Applications should be sent to M.B. Ambalagi, convener, 33, “Gurushakthi”, Karuneshwar Nagar, Gulbarga 585-102 before January 21.
