SHIMLA: In another appreciable move here on Sunday Himachal Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has ordered that no school children be brought for public meetings on held on the school’s working days. In a direction to the State Education Department he has mentioned that organising of any public meetings on any school premises on working days be avoided and seen that no community food is served there. Earlier he had instructed that practice of loading politicians with garlands and bouquets in public meetings should be discouraged. Mr. Dhumal had also said that the practice of touching feet of the Chief Minister and other politicians in public should be avoided. ContrastThese directions are in complete contrast to the earlier regime where these practices were not only followed but even encouraged.
