2,501 tonnes of cement allotted to Krishnagiri

Krishnagiri: The State Government has allotted 2,501 tonnes of cement to Krishnagiri district for supplying it to people at a subsidised rate through the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Collector Santhosh Babu has said.

The corporation would supply the cement at the rate of Rs. 200 a bag. People should apply to the respective tahsildars with necessary information and documents, including the address of the construction site, survey number, building plan approval, map, copy of family card or the electors’ photo identity card. The building plan approval should have been issued on or after July 1, 2007. The payment should be made through demand draft drawn in favour of the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation. A person can get a maximum of 100 bags. The construction area should not exceed 1,000 sq ft.
