ANANTAPUR: A farmer of Sajjaladinne village of Tadipatri mandal, Yellappa (48), allegedly committed suicide on Saturday night. According to information reaching here, Yellappa and Sanjeeva Reddy had a dispute over way to their orchards located side by side for long. Congress leaders of the village reportedly conducted a ‘panchayat’ on Saturday and gave their ‘verdict’ in favour of Reddy. Hurt by the decision he returned home and consumed pesticide. His family found him dead when they tried to wake him up on Sunday morning. – Staff Reporter
