Serial blasts rock Bhutan

Thimphu (BHUTAN): A woman was injured and some property damaged as four serial blasts rocked poll-bound Bhutan on Sunday, including one in the capital, police said.

The four blasts took place within a span of three hours between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., a spokesman for the Royal Bhutan Police said.

Police said one of the three militant groups based in Nepal — Bhutan Tiger Force, Bhutan Maoists Party and Communist Party of Bhutan — was suspected to have carried out the blasts. — PTI
