Ranchi: The Congress on Sunday said it was not happy with the report submitted by Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda on his government’s performance, but would talk to other UPA allies before taking the final decision on its ultimatum that expired on January 15. “I am not satisfied with the report given to me by the Chief Minister. I will make it public in a day or two,” AICC leader Ajay Maken told a press conference here. Mr. Maken is also in-charge of party affairs in Jharkhand. ‘Not satisfactory’Mr. Koda submitted the report to Mr. Maken in New Delhi on January 17. Mr. Maken said that preliminary reports received from Congress leaders assigned to monitor the government’s performance after he had given a 19-point charter of demands on November 15 were also not satisfactory. Coalition dharmaHowever, he would still abide by the coalition dharma by discussing the issue with the RJD, JMM and other partners in the UPA before reaching any conclusion. Congress leaders warnedMeanwhile, two Ministers in the Jharkhand Cabinet have warned Congress leaders not to “humiliate them with corruption charges without evidence”. — PTI
