Rourkela: Orissa school students clinched the titles in both boys’ and girls’ events in the second national inter-school games and sports tournament held at Ispat stadium here. Town High School, Sundergarh became champion in Boys events and Government Girls’ High School, Bhubaneswar became champion in Girls’ category after securing 47 and 52 points respectively. Kids Flower School, Meghalaya and Sarbanda Singh High School, Tinchulia in Assam were the runners up in boys and girls events respectively. In hockey, boys of Orissa beat Jharkhand 3-2 and in girls’of Jharkhand beat Haryana 2-0 to be champion. In the basketball final, Tamil Nadu beat Kerala 65-36 in boys’ section, while in girls’ category Kerala beat Tamil Nadu 64-38. - PTI
