Fire in waste dump

NEW DELHI: A fire broke out in a plastic-waste dump at Mundaka here around midnight on Saturday night. No one was injured in the incident.

The Delhi Fire Service received information about the fire around 12-30 a.m. Over two-dozen fire tenders were pressed into action, but non-availability of adequate water supply hampered the fire-fighting exercise. Around 4-30 a.m., the fire was brought under control. The local police have investigating the cause of fire.
