VISAKHAPATNAM: Sharif of Sri Devi Vision (SDV) won the third CMR-VJF inter-media carrom singles title. He defeated V. Ravindra of All India Radio 25-13, 19-25, 25-5. M. Bhimaraju of AIR claimed the third spot. In the doubles event, A. Manoharan and B. Ganesh of The Hindu defeated S. Durga Rao and S. Ramakrishna of Vision 25-13, 25-6 to claim the top spot. R. Ramesh Babu and B. Sanyasi of AIR finished third. The women’s singles title was won by G. Madhuri Latha of The Hindu. She beat V. Anuradha of The Hindu 25-12. A. Kameswari of AIR took the third spot. In the women’s double final, G. Madhuri Latha and V. Anuradha of The Hindu beat V.V. Rani and B.T. Krishna Kumari of AIR 25-0 to secure the top spot. A.
