Physically challenged thank Centre

VILLUPURAM: The Villupuram District Physically Handicapped Social Service Welfare Association has thanked the Central Government for having given the consent for the scheme to provide one-lakh jobs annually for the physically challenged persons in the private sector.

In a representation to the Prime Minister, association president M.Ramesh thanked Union Ministers P.Chidambaram, Meera Yasmin and Subbulakshmi Jagadeesan for having sanctioned Rs 1,800 crore for the welfare of the physically challenged. — Special Correspondent
