‘Karaikal carnival’ concludes

KARAIKAL: The six-day ‘Karaikal Carnival’ coincided with the Pongal festival concluded here on Sunday.

Mukut Mithi, Lt. Governor of Puducherry, distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted during the carnival at the valedictory function. He did not address the function.

Mr. Mukut Mithi also released a book on the development projects being implemented in Karaikal region.

The Karaikal Collector, N.Vasanthakumar, presided. A.M.H.Nazeem, Karaikal MLA and Leader of the Opposition in Puducherry Assembly, P.R.Siva, MLA, attended the function.
