DC Books sets up shop in Bangalore

BANGALORE: DC Books, Kerala’s largest publishing-bookselling enterprise, has come to Bangalore. On Sunday, litterateur U.R. Ananthamurthy opened the group’s first bookstore in India’s Silicon City – the vanguard of what is a planned tripling of its footprint, and expansion into other Indian metros. DC Books plans five other shops in Bangalore by the end of the year and others in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Kolkata.
